These images of found-damged photographs were made while documenting the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The distorted images represent the lives of the people they depict: displaced, permanently scarred and stuck in transition as they end one life and work to begin a new one.

Everyone wants to give their kid a better life then the one they had growing up. But without those experience’s and struggles you wouldn’t the be the person you are today. And you wouldn’t be able to teach your kid through the lessons you’ve learned. The person thats given everything, learns nothing.
