Q: The Characters you create in your paintings show us blood, suffering, eroticism, sex and emotion. How do you get caught up in it?
A: “My woman are not suffering, on the contrary they are triumphant, they are strong and powerful. The blood you see in my paintings is from a battle or war that has been won. If you look closely you can see the deep emotion within her eyes, the empowered stare bringing you, the viewer closer into her world. So in no way are the smoking bad ass girls victims, they are heroes. They are the strength in every woman and a force to be reckoned with.”
